We are not as good as we should be at keeping this up to date - every day we get lots of lovely comments about our product and our service but we don't always remember to post them up here - and of course they make a better impression if we have a picture to go with it?!
It has been a great pleasure since July 2006, to provide the Lip Ink® products to 'old' USA and new UK customers alike because your response has been so very enthusiastic. Running Lip Ink® UK can hardly be described as work - it is more like a having a party!
However if we are 100% honest we do occasionally meet a very small proportion of new clients (only .05% still) who just do not get 'away' with Lip Inks - either the application technique or the fact that it is a liquid colour. Of course if we were face to face we probably would find out where the problem lay - I am gradually learning to accept that I cannot win them all - even if I do still find it enormously frustrating!

I think Lipink provides an old fashioned service, even though it's over the Internet . I like that I can ask questions, receive consultations and recommendations, despite not being face to face the service is personal and I feel valued as a customer.
They also provided extra help and support when I had problems paying through PayPal and were prepared to trust me! The products speak for themselves, Lipink provides the longest lasting lipstick I have ever found and believe me I have searched! LipMax, a new product, softens and plumps up my lips, I've been using it on its own, under and over Lipink regular lipstick.

I received my Eyebrow Liner four days ago and am very pleased with it. I over-plucked my brows when I was younger and have to pencil them in every day. However, my pencilled brows come off when I go swimming or go to the gym and I always worry that they will be wiped off when I have my hair washed at the hairdresser.
I am off to Florida this summer and now I won't have to worry about my eyebrows disappearing after I have been in the sea or losing my eyebrows during the long flight. I used a grey eyebrow pencil before but ordered the Taupe liner and hoped it would be OK . It is a lovely colour and suits my dark blonde colouring perfectly. I am so pleased I have found this product!

Well, the Lip ink did me proud. Lasted 18 hours! The Bride was amazed and everyone commented on it. So pleased. And looked amazingly natural, was a perfect match to my hair and skin tone - really really pleased! A1 ----- totally foolproof! Even after a large amount of bubbly! a wonderful product that should be in everyone's make up bag for ever.

I never thought I'll be writing a testimonial for a make-up brand, but here I am today doing exactly that. I am a fitness instructor and because my job entails getting sweaty, any make-up normally ends-up around my knees after a session.
I tried semi-permanent make-up (lipstick tattoed onto the lips). Never again. I found it painful (no I am not a wuss, I actually have very high pain threshold), came out with cold-sores afterwards, not to mention the £550 I spent on the process. But worst of all the result was non-existent. I was told that its because of my dark skin tone (which I know now is rubbish as Lip-ink works fine) and was offered another treatment but after persevering with 3 painful treatments, very sore lips, drinking liquid meals out of a straw and many cold sores - I had given up and was learning to live with the bland, un-cared-for and un-made-up look.
That's why Lip-Ink was a god-send. I read about it in Times news paper about a year ago and decided to try it hesitantly - I have never looked back. Its better than semi-perm make up any day:
- much much Cheaper
- Soooo much easier to apply - no needles involved
- Lip-Ink offers variety that semi-perm make-up doesn't
- Easy to correct if you make a mistake
- Stays put for as long as you want
To be honest I don't need to say much, Lip-Ink as a product speaks for it self. If you try it once - you'll be hooked. So what impresses me even more is the service. Simone and team provide a proactive, caring and flexible service. Its like having your best friend work for Lip-Ink - you know that she will give you good advice. Being asian I needed some direction as to what colours will suite my skin tone and Simone did a wonderful job. Thanks babe ;o)

Well it arrived and you were so right and I was SO very wrong! The Fire Red looked amazing on and the Sky Red, well that just looked purple on me and not very flattering at all! This stuff is so incredible! It is nothing like a lipstick and that is fantastic! If I am honest, I was half expecting a Lipfinity type lip colour.. a stick that lasts maybe a bit longer than normal lippys, but this is something else! Once it goes on, it's in and won't budge until you 'off' it!
I am so happy and you are such a darling to send me it out before I had even paid! My card is buggered, so they will send me a new one out in the week. So I will send you some money over next weekend, or earlier if it comes before hand!
Do you want me to send the Sky Red back? I really can't see that I will wear it, it looked hideous on me! Why on earth I was so adament it would look good I will never know! I am quite happy to send it back, so you can use it as a sample of whatever you wish? I used my own stick to test them anway.

Just thought I would email you with a new use for Lip Ink lip colours......
I experimented yesterday with putting some more streaks in my hair with a colour similar to my pink/red streaks!!!! Guess what - it worked a treat and washed out fine this morning. So now I can really have some fun. I figured that as the ingrediants were natural and were being used on my skin then they couldn't do any harm to my hair. I have to say I 'm quite used to lateral thinking as I like looking at things to see if they can be turned into something else! I've quite a collection of unique earrings that I have made from buttons etc so this isn't something new!
Hmm - what colour shall I try next on my hair - maybe plum!!

Oh you are sweet to think of me and my pocket! It’s just that I am SO happy with this make-up – it’s just the best! The Cognac-lo is SO exactly my colour that I like to have one in my bag, one in my make-up box and one spare one! (Nuts, I know!) Also I would hate to live one day without the Brown Brow Liner, so I’d rather just keep a spare handy.
So there you have it and you probably won’t be hearing from me for quite a while after this order as I have at least 2s and 3s of everything!

Nora who loves expermenting with make-up
Hello Simone, sorry, once again my computer will not let me open the attachment. The wonders of modern technology dont seem to be on our side where our computers are concerned. we may be compatible, but they certainly are not! So I think the easiest is for me to list what I have got, and
hopefully it will agree with your list of sent and returns.
First, the initial Mango and Cedarwood Kit Sampler, followed by Orange, and Rust Liner.
Next came Taupe Brow Liner, Blue Eye Liner and Black Eye Liner. Gold Glitter gel stayed when all the other gel lippies were returned. So that is my reckoning - hope we agree. So glad my eye make up is going down well, it wasn't half so effective when my eyelids were hanging down pre-face lift.! Now is a joy to do. Regards.

I was first introduced to Lipink at a Hair and Beauty trade show about eight years ago and was so impressed with its staying power that I constantly used it in my work as a makeup artist in the theatre as it doesn’t need refreshing throughout a show, just topping up with some lip gloss. However about two years ago The company that supplied me suddenly went out of business, I was devastated as I couldn't seem to get it from the U.S.A. as the firms web site kept crashing. I am so thrilled to be able to get it again it will make life so much easier for me!

The Lip Ink is really good. It doesn't dry out the lips and it stays on for ages. It is also easy to remove with the 'Off' Towelette. Lip Ink is for me as it is so much better than conventional lipstick, I like the fact I only need to apply it once a day.
The only (very small) negative comment is the colour is quite different to chart (much darker, even when applied lightly).

Me again! I just thought that I would let you know, the lip colour and the eye-liner arrived.
I am writing to tell you about the liner, as I thought the feed-back may help.....ITS GRRRREAT! As I told you, I suffer from watery eyes, so I usually find eyeliner a nightmare. I can get it looking OK for a half-hour or so, then no-dice...even those marketed as smudge-proof and tear proof, but this is smashing!
I put two layers on at 10 a.m. and it still looked fresh at 10pm. It did take one or two practices though. You definitely have to leave the right amount of time for the fumes to dissipate, and your eyelids have to be very, very dry, as the smallest amount of moisture left over from cleansers or moisturisers, results in the liner running every where!! Like I said...practice.. by the third attempt it was fine.
I think the trick is small thin strokes and not one continuous line, as was always recommended by pencil, and other liquid liners - I just ...sort of...dotted the lines in place and VOILA!!
As you may have seen… I have ordered two more colours...I must stop soon, before the bank manager gets me!!

The lip liner and the Sample Kit was just what I wanted, and I have had a chance to play with them today (as you know, they feel like there is nothing there! so I had to keep checking in the mirror, which is a first, generally I avoid mirrors like the plague)
I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a black eyeliner if you can get one, I also want to order another lip colour, in a lighter shade this time.....see!! I am addicted already!!!
Please let me know about the eyeliner, and if you have one, how I go about ordering it..I will leave off ordering the new colour until I hear from you so I can pay for both together.

Fantastic Service!!! My lip colours (and the mini bottle of shine - many thanks indeed, perfect for my makeup bag and refillable too!!) arrived yesterday morning just as I was putting on my makeup.
The Maplewood is just what I need to pale my lips down for the pink colour. Think that is now my favourite combination .... no doubt I'll still be experimenting though!! If anyone else finds that the lip colour is too dark on their lips then I would recommend the Maplewood as a base.
I was at the dentist yesterday for two fillings &:o( and afterwards when I was looking at my puffy face in the mirror feeling sorry for myself I was pleased to see my lipink lips were still looking good - most impressed!! &:o).

I received my lip ink, lip colour and it is absolutely brilliant. Now I can have fuller looking lips without the need for injections to plump them up. It lasts and lasts, and is so easy to apply. I have now ordered more.

I put some more lip colour on before going out to dinner last night, and it stayed on through eating and teeth-cleaning, and I still had some on when I woke up this morning! I am impressed with how it lives up to its promises. How does it work? I had some Revlon lip colours somewhat along the same lines, supposedly very long lasting with a kind of "paint" and then a gloss to put on top, but they have nowhere near the same staying power, and tend to just leave a thin rim around the edges of the lips while all the inside part comes off.

It's great news that we can get lip ink in the UK again now. I too first discovered it a few years ago at one of the London shows and was distraught when you could no longer get it in the UK! I've tried other products but they just don't have the staying power and they form bits on the lips which is not a very good look! I couldn't justify paying the prices to order from the US so am very happy that you have decided to distribute in the UK.

Must admit it crossed my mind more than once to do just as you have done and import the stuff. Glad I don’t have to think about doing any more, I’m trying to enjoy retirement, not go back into business! The 4 colours I have chosen are the 4 I use all the time if that’s any help. Thank you for your e mail I was over the moon to hear that at last we can get our LipInk here in Britain. Like you I love the product and could not understand how it never took off in Britain. I first saw the products in the Health and Beauty show in Earls Court approx 5-6 years ago and have used them ever since, but the last 2-3 years there has not been a UK distributor, so I have had to send to America. Fortunately this year my friends niece who lives in America has been getting them for me thus avoiding paying the shipping costs, actually my friend is over at her nieces at this very moment and I have given her another order to bring back with her, so unfortunately I do not need anything at this moment, but I will treasure your e mail and as soon as I need any more I will contact you straight away......

This is fantastic news; I have been using Lip Ink for about 5 years now I think, and like you never returned to lipstick. I have been using about 4 lip inks a year which I have been buying in one go to save on shipping costs. My favourite colour is Cocoa, which I notice you don't seem to have at the moment. I would certainly buy 2 if you stocked them straight away. I am going on holiday for 2 weeks so I would be grateful if you would e-mail me when/if you decide to stock this colour. I also like Mango which looks lovely with a tan.
